This 4 burner propane griddle stands out for even heat, solid cooking capacity, and easy cleanup. It has four rows of flame, holds steady across the surface, and can handle large batches like 7 pounds of chicken or 5 pounds of taco meat. Cleanup is described as simple, with little sticking even before seasoning. The main drawback is size and weight, since it feels closer to 50 pounds and is hard to move without a truck or RV. The 1 pound adapter also appears to be missing or disputed, so it suits cooks who can live with the bulk.

Common Questions (5)

  • It is portable only in a limited sense: the 4-burner unit is described as very heavy and large, and it can be hard to transport without a truck or RV. It is still lighter than a Blackstone for at least one buyer, but the 3- or 2-burner versions are the better fit if portability matters most.

  • The 4-burner model has four rows of flame and can be zoned with the burners, which helps control heat. One buyer also reported steady heat across the surface with only small differences, while a 3-burner version was described as uneven with hotter spots.

  • The unit may not include the 1 lb adapter even though some listing images suggested it did. A buyer used a 20 lb tank instead, and another reported receiving the griddle without the 1 lb adapter.

  • The listing appears to have product-page confusion: it describes a grill with non-stick grids, but the actual item is a griddle and one review video showed a different 2-burner grill with grids and a lid. The page also created confusion about whether a 1 lb adapter was included.

  • It has enough surface area for large batches, including about 7 lbs of chicken for fajitas or 5 lbs of taco meat at one time. That makes it practical for camp cooking or feeding a group.

I'm used to the blackstone cold rolled steel cooktop. Is it much of an adjustment for stainless steel? Variations in cooking, harder to clean, etc?
It cleaned just as easy as any one I've used.
It was new, so not seasoned like a Blackstone, but I didn't have any food sticking problems.

The heat was steady over the entire surface (within obviously some differences).

I use an infrared thermometer to try to keep it closer to 350. With 4 burners, you can adjust the zones as needed.

I bought the 4 burner griddle and it was wayyyy too heavy. Not portable. Wished I got the 3 or 2 burner version.
Is this 39lb as Amazon says? Lowes, target says it's 50lbs...

It definately feels like 50lbs. The griddle is super heavy and the size is really big. Combining both.. It's hard to transport if you don't have a truck or rv.

Thanks. This is back in stock but i'm also thinking of considering a used full griddle insert which is carbon steel for the weber genesis 2 at FB market for $100. I don't plan on transporting but I don't have much space left in my garage and a tall outdoor table for this griddle. I think my glass patio table will break if I cook on it.

Do they make universal covers metal for these?
I have not found one. The best I'm doing is wrapping in foil then some generic grill cover.

The 3 burner does not heat evenly. How does the bottom of the griddle look like on the 4-burner? My 3-burner has an X under the flat-top which creates an uneven flat-top as well as heat concentrating at the X. There's about 1-2 inches on top and bottom without heat - which I do like and use as needed.

I agree that cleanup is easy. Whatever sticks cleans easily as long as the griddle is HOT + water. After cleaning, I coat with oil.

4 burner has 4 rows of flame if I remember correctly. Only used ours once but very happy with it and even more so at this price. Would buy another just because lol
