I purchased the 3-burner version of this for $55. It was my first gas griddle and I now love this cooking method.

I bought the 4 burner griddle and it was wayyyy too heavy. Not portable. Wished I got the 3 or 2 burner version.

To cook about 2lb of chicken on it, how long did it take for you to cook it nice and wet crispy on this griddle? How long do Lropane 1lb canisters last for this kind of griddling?

I got this a month or so ago at this price.
It cooked up great at our camp.

7 lbs of chicken fit (for fajitas)
5 lbs of taco meat wasn't a problem.

Is this heavier than a smaller one? Sure
But, it's much lighter than the Blackstone I took too.

It didn't come with the 1lb adapter so I used a 20 lb tank.

Great value and fully recommend

I'm used to the blackstone cold rolled steel cooktop. Is it much of an adjustment for stainless steel? Variations in cooking, harder to clean, etc?

Been researching griddles for cooking my fish outside the house. The price is great and gas model should cook more evenly than electric. I was a little concerned about larger size with portability and storage but the larger grills do hold temperature better. Appreciate the post, UncleRobot!

It doesn't have a lid - is it necessary for cooking and keeping food warm and bugs out?

D6F2EAAF still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

1, tks! Thinking of getting 2 of these for $11 each (melt cheese, steam vegetables and cook food faster, keep flies and debris away, reduce splatter) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DS7G...YQ5BKR9AKT

It uses the word "grill" to describe it even though it's a griddle. Grills typically have grids. And in fact, the Amazon page also talks about it " Gas Grill with Uncoated and Non-stick Grids". Where are the grids though? Or am I misreading all this?

Also, about the griddle being non-stick. Any idea what material that nonstick thing is and if it peels or chips off into the food?

EDIT: Reading the Amazon reviews, one reviewer (Susan J Martz) calls it a grill, and has a video. The video shows an actual grill (2 burners, not 4), with grids, and a lid. A completely different product. Looks like the manufacturer messed up or something and combined two different products into this product page that has reviews of those different products. Terrible mismanagement of listing.
