A few things I found. The Klein RT250 outlet tester can pick up issues like only the hot wire hooked up (open ground and neutral at the same time) where a model like the RT210 will display no lights and make you think the circuit is dead. Measures voltage. Measures trip time of GFCI outlet.
Still trying to find if the RT250 can pick up a neutral and ground reversed issue. The RT210 cannot.
It's always a good idea to pair one of these with a non-contact tester for safety.
