I have a few, they're as good as any other Hue bulb. Up to you whether you think that justifies the price. The edison bulbs can certainly feel a bit too bright if they're in an un-diffused fixture at eyeline - they'll sear an image into your vision, so you'll probably only ever be running them at 50% brightness or lower, unless you put a diffuser on... in which case, why have an edison bulb at all.

These White Ambiance ones are a big improvement over the original warm-only filament bulbs because you can adjust the color temp from warm to cool. They definitely get super bright in open fixtures if they're at eye level, but they look great in hanging pendants. Standard price is normally around 5, so this is a solid discount.
