I've noticed the cheapest 5090s at Microcenter are now ~$4200. So with this deal, you're literally getting a whole PC for free w/5090 purchase.
I could only get it down to $4087 as only the 'awakenings' code worked for me. Still, pretty good!
The only thing proprietary about this entire AMD Omen is the front-panel I/O.
$6 part is all you need if you ever want to move the motherboard to a standard case.

Everything else is standard fit and ports etc. No funny connectors, no special PSU, no weird cables for fans etc. Whatever urban legends people have about HP proprietary parts.
GPU is usable in any other motherboard's PCI-E slot. Down to the side screw holes on 50xx long cards where it can be used with fancier brackets to secure the card down. Far better than a simple ant-sag stick under it. These screw holes is what HP used to secure the card down like a tank in the machine.
Lenovo has similar extra study GPU brackets. Nothing proprietary about the GPU card themselves that makes it so you can't take it and use it somewhere else. Clearly you have zero experience with these type of machines... lol
People who spread misinformation without bothering to check the facts are worse than a glitchy AI.

Yes, it's pretty good!!!! latest open source that runs on this VRAM is Qwen 3.8 27B reported to be Opus 4.x level and Q4 only needs 17GB of RAM and I thought I saw peope reporting hitting 100 tgs with MTP (don't quote me on this lol - I have not confirmed this myself).

My screenshot here has the extra $20 (before discount for the 16x2 RAM config)
GOOD LUCK.
Oh don't preach about how it's a whole PC free/super cheap..., lots of people don't believe it, best let them think it's right cuz there is no making sense for them why this is such a good deal for them to acquire 5090's. More for us anyway.
Also,
Crappy prices galore. 4399.99 | MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G SUPRIM LIQUID SOC (Factory Reconditioned) at Woot.... who would buy this kind of junk at this price.... https://slickdeals.net/f/19883949-4399-99-msi-geforce-rtx-5090-32g-suprim-liquid-soc-factory-reconditioned-at-woot?v=1&src=Si

I have tried both version both and they worked fine -- well for me I can get 300mbs off of internet transfers which is my FIOS cap. I don't have heavy at-home machine to machine file transfers to notice any issues either.

Anyway, I've had success using a diff set of 32GBx2 Corsair and forgot the other brand to run 128GB.
In general, you may not be able to overclock the RAM and they could be locked at 4800 MT/s in pre-builts. I had issues with Lenovo as well but I'm fine with 128GB at 4800MT. Some may discourage you but whatever, I'm pretty sure I can't notice the difference between 4800MT 5600 and 6000 with the stuff I run.
