Found one unit at my local Costco sitting with the Hisense portables. There was no price anywhere so I looked on the app, which listed it at $347 and low stock so I grabbed it. Other stores in my area show $489 list price, and now my store has no stock. YMMV, good luck.

Dual hose with heat at this price, new, is a good deal if you can find it. It will pay for itself in electricity savings by next spring.

Don't think this unit has heat. The previous 14k btu did.

Description says it has heat. That may be an oversight from their part, I will not do the legwork to check.

No mention of heat in the specs, and also missing heat in the photos.

See attachment. Also there is at least one customer review mentioning it.

Here's the manual. Manual mentions heat pump mode which makes me think it can heat?

All the reviews include the older 14K btu unit "which I own" has the heat option.
I went to purchase another one earlier this year, and it has been replaced with this12K btu, which did not have a heat option.
Maybe they changed the model within the last 3-4 months ???
Order one and take pics for all us to have the truth!
See attachment. Also this is what AI has to say about it. take it for what it's worth!
The 12,000 BTU Midea portable air conditioner sold at Costco (typically the Midea Duo cooling/dehumidifying/fan model) does not have a heat mode because it is strictly a 3-in-1 cooling unit. Midea makes separate heat-pump versions, but the specific configuration stocked on Costco warehouse pallets is designed only for air conditioning, fan, and dehumidification.

OP, Since you grabbed one, Can you look at the physical model number on the A/C and does it have a heat option?

This is a really good unit but it is big. I bought it renewed from Walmart for $300. I would buy it for this price if I didn't already have one.

I hadn't seen the one with heat in store before. Are you sure this is the one with heat? Because thats the exact price I see in the warehouse for the 12k without heat.

Quite likely they messed up the listing, by forgetting to remove the heat mention and by mixing reviews from versions that have the heat option. I merely pointed it out.

As I mentioned earlier, I would not do the legwork to check and see if the actual unit has heat. Finders keepers.

This model doesn't have heat, the link definitely has a mistake in it. I wasn't expecting it to have heat as I've been looking at this model for a while and jumped when the price went down.
