Kingroon PETG and PLA filament is drawing attention for very low per roll pricing, especially on the black PETG bundles, and the brand has a solid track record for reliable printing. The strongest reports put 10 kilograms of black PETG around $45 to $56 shipped or after tax, with some orders landing near $5 per roll. PETG is also described as printing better, though slower, and it can work well as a backup spool in automated systems. The main caveat is that pricing shifts at checkout, PLA often shows much higher, and matching color or finish across rolls is not guaranteed.
Makers printing lots of PETG parts, because the filament has been used successfully for gridfinity and other projects at about five dollars a roll.
Printer owners who want a low-cost black filament bulk buy, because the 10kg black PETG total landed around $45 to $56 shipped and taxed.
People who already like this filament brand, because prior PETG and PLA use was reported as trouble-free and the material was described as good to stick with.
Users running automated spool switching, because the same material and color can keep printing when one spool runs out.
People mixing filament brands in one print, because layer adhesion can suffer when formulations differ between brands.
Automated feeders that cannot tolerate end-of-spool quirks, because a tail attachment can trigger a false out-of-filament stop or jamming.
Shoppers needing the advertised price to hold at checkout, because the total can jump from the listing price to about $92 when you try to pay.
Prints that must match perfectly across spools, because even black rolls can differ in surface finish and texture.

Anyone know how or if these are usually attached at the end of spool? My first roll of PETG was actually attached at the tail end on killed a print when it ran out because the printer couldn't tell that the filament was out. I haven't had that problem after that first roll but I don't remember what brands I've used.
