I do think we'll see sub-500-ish again, and I think there's a reasonable chance of seeing $450–$475 during one of these major AliExpress promotion.

Roughly Aug. 28–Sept. 5 — Back-to-School / Choice Day promotions. This is the next window, so I would definitely see what happens to that $514 two-pack before buying.

Am I stupid for wanting/thinking this would be easier? Would 2 of these be enough? Would I need 4 instead? Realistically the amount of juice being pulled is just the lights and TV's running maybe 4-6s a day and over the weekends longer of course.
A single 12V 280Ah battery is ~3.3kWh or 3300 W / hour. If you have a 300W load, you can run it for up to 11 hours (3300 Wh / 300 W = 11 hours). Of course there's inefficiency losses due to inverter.
Also remember that you shouldn't charge LFP batteries in the cold, ideally the BMS cuts it off.
