Pros:
You can download footage off the app
It has better adjustability than other dash cams I've used so it's forgiving if you don't place it perfectly
It loads and downloads footage faster than any other in app dash cam I've tried out so far
I read in the last thread that the parking mode only activates and records if something hits your car; it does not record the whole time while the car is parked.
Cons:
It's bulky
The "4k" is somewhat noticeably not 4k compared to my other 4k front dash cams

Pros:
- You can download footage off the app
- It has better adjustability than other dash cams I've used so it's forgiving if you don't place it perfectly
- It loads and downloads footage faster than any other in app dash cam I've tried out so far
- I read in the last thread that the parking mode only activates and records if something hits your car; it does not record the whole time while the car is parked.
Cons:I've had one of the better Viofo dashcams sitting uninstalled for more than a year because 1) I am too lazy/busy to do it myself and 2) professional installation would be $250. So I might as well take a chance on this for $60. Plus, I bought a 256GB Viofo SD card to use with the Viofo one, so I can just throw that in the new one. 🤣
Edit: It's already out for delivery. Things have changed since I last used Aliexpress.
I'm curious though how the battery would degrade over time - the worst case is that it could explode on heat - with passengers inside.
