Pros:
You can download footage off the app
It has better adjustability than other dash cams I've used so it's forgiving if you don't place it perfectly
It loads and downloads footage faster than any other in app dash cam I've tried out so far
I read in the last thread that the parking mode only activates and records if something hits your car; it does not record the whole time while the car is parked.
Cons:
It's bulky
The "4k" is somewhat noticeably not 4k compared to my other 4k front dash cams
Community Reviews
Baseus VD1 Pro is a dual dash cam that stands out for easy app access, flexible mounting, and parking recording without hardwiring. Footage downloads quickly, the camera is forgiving to position, and the parking mode only triggers when something hits the car. The main tradeoffs are that the 4K front video is upscaled from the Sony IMX335 sensor, the unit is bulky, and the battery design raises heat and long term durability concerns. A practical option if those limits are acceptable.
