The Flashforge Adventurer 5M is a fast CoreXY printer that feels unusually capable at this price, with strong print quality, auto leveling, and an easy unbox and print setup. It is especially appealing for learning the basics or adding an enclosure later, and the enclosed setup can handle materials like ASA for under $200 with the kit. The main tradeoffs are the 220 millimeter build plate, open chassis, no multi color or multi material support, and reports of software, app, and firmware rough edges. A solid compact printer if those limits fit your workflow.

I prefer to not use wifi and connect it directly with Ethernet and use vanilla orca slicer instead of the flash forge version. no cloud bs this way.
printing your own enclosure for it is a awesome project I highly recommend
Flashforge software needs polishing and really need to doing all the testing before releasing a newer version, and they need to fix their app connectivity (LAN only is okay). I upgraded from an Ender 3 Pro, and the AD5X is so much faster (13 hours on Ender 3 vs 4 hours on AD5X). I don't think you can find a Core XY printer for this price range. The enclosure is worth it IMO.
So, I recommend this printer, with the rebate, it's about the same price as my Ender 3 Pro that I had purchased from Microcenter 5 years ago.
