It is a 42 volt(or 36 volt?), 10.4 ampere-hour scooter, comes with a 42 volt, 2 ampere charger. Minimal assembly required. I checked all the bolts and 80% were tight.
Mine uses a Vicont app. It is very barebones in terms of the app functionality, but I was able to set certain parameters to my liking. Regenerative braking set to 4 out of 10, starting torque set to 5 out of 10, and driving torque set to 10 out of 10. I enabled the option of a kick start, where the scooter needs a slight push before the throttle works. The rear brake is a drum brake. It works ok, it needs some use before it feels good.
Overall, the scooter rides extremely smooth, even with the solid tires. The suspension is super simple and it's just a spring within each tube. Concrete cracks, asphalt repairs, and regular road irregularities don't really bother this scooter. It reaches 22 mph or 35 kph. The speedometer units are in kph. I am 155 lbs and it had no problem climbing some of the steeper grades at 12-14 mph.
Unbelievable value for 122 dollars. I am very pleased with the purchase. Thanks to the original poster for sharing this slick deal.
UPDATE:
I've had this scooter now for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks with the scooter, I now have 110 miles, true measured miles. The apps inflate the numbers by a varying amount. The Vicont app inflates the mileage by 30%. The Aovopro app inflates the mileage by 115%. At 160lb body weight and 22mph, the scooter will do 14 miles comfortably. I recently serviced the suspension by taking it apart and cleaning it. There was some grease and metal shavings and sand(?). After servicing it, the suspension is much better and smoother. I checked all the bolts and two rear suspension pivot bolts were starting to come loose. I applied some red loctite to lock those in. I've done some minor jumps off the curbs and speed bumps and the welds are holding up ok. Overall, still very pleased with the scooter.
I saw some previous comments(posted a few days after my original comment) about vibrations on this scooter. My scooter also has some vibration coming from the rear tire, but they are minor. For 122 bucks purchased, I am not expecting miracles. The tires the scooter comes with are very hard. You will feel the road texture. To minimize the feel of the road texture, you need to bend your knees like you would when riding a skateboard. Have your dominant foot forward, and non dominant foot close to the rear fender.

Title says 500w motor -> Aliexpress description states a trustworthy 250-500w range for motor, and 36v
So not sure what the TRUE specs are, the listing is contradictory. Anyone buy this exact one and check the motor or battery capacity?

I guess if I was going to depend on a scooter to commute to work, I would probably pay a bit more for something with more power, but that's not my situation so idc :x
So its legit stores selling from Ali express just like how they sell via Amazon. These items are shipping from US warehouses? Sorry being cautious, hence asking more question. Appreciate taking time and answering.
I bought a Aovopro TMAX a few weeks ago.
They probably are "supposed" to be the same, but the TMAX is better built.
- TMAX has a throttle cut off when brakes are pressed. Y02 does not.
- The thumb throttle feels less solid and rattle a little on the Y02.
- The shocks feels stiffer on the Y02 compare to the TMAX. I feel a lot more vibration on the Y02.
- My TMAX pairs with Tuya app. The Y02 pairs with Vicont app.
- Tuya app with TMAX can configure max speed for each Eco/Drive/Sport modes. Vicont app does not.
- Vicont app with Y02 can configure torque and regen brake levels. Tuya app does not.
My take: Aovowheel might be a smudge lower quality/craftsmanship compare to the TMAX. I wonder if Aovowheel is made by a cheaper factory, despite supposedly the same spec as the TMAX.I guess if I was going to depend on a scooter to commute to work, I would probably pay a bit more for something with more power, but that's not my situation so idc :x
I don't disagree with you that it is fun to dink around with, but any more than like 15-20 minutes and I'm tired of being vibrated to death.
I did find past warrant recall due to not UL listed, and fire hazard, so Claude suggested never charge it over night, and never charge it after battery is hot after riding. Just something to keep in mind and an eye on. During rest, it should be safe (all suggested by Claude).
I have the Y02 version also, using the avowheel. app, everything seems fine but haven't really rode it except doing few loops in my backyard. I did forget this thing has a brake and always just hop off to stop, so this isn't natural like a bike feel, be careful out there.
