Looks like the 65" is about $400 above where it will be eventually (for an 8 series Chinese TV). So yeah these prices are probably below MSRP but not near where they will be eventually.

98" will probably be $3000 at some point down the line.

Deal price of a TCL 98QM8X is 3K until NFM drills it down to 2150 and a few lucky fellow matches price with BB Smilie TV prices are rinse and repeat every year.

the new oled tvs like the c6h (not to be confused with c6) use tandem panels that are many times brighter than the previous gen panels. of course its not as bright as these monster minileds but oleds are still superior in terms of picture quality. this is why the top two tv manufacturers samsung and lg use oled for their flagships. sony went miniled as they are now partly owned by tcl which only uses miniled.
