Excellent affordable basic starter set of a good variety of tools that most people could use if they don't have any yet. Obviously not as good/strong as a decent Husky set that costs around $100-$150 for all the same tools. This is best for someone who has no tools but needs some basic tools. This is not good for someone looking for super high quality tools to use daily like a mechanic or maintenance handyman. I bought 4 sets of these for: my girlfriend to keep in her car, her parents to keep in their house, my other friend who has never used tools in his life but always needs them to fix random stuff around his house, and one for my coworker who is fairly handy with tools but she has never bothered to buy any tools for herself so this will be a nice Christmas present for her. I have over a dozen Seesii tools now including their $62 110V MIG welder and they all work surprisingly well and cost even less than Pittsburg tools from Harbor Freight so they might become the new online-only version of Harbor Freight at this rate.

For most people the battery will probably die before you get any use out of this set. I think a wired set would be more useful (and powerful) for home repairs.
Is your concern the runtime per charge, the self-discharge rate, or the lifespan of the battery?

Regardless, my hunch is that it would be fine for the occasional household user for ~ 5 years. Corded with an extension cord would be fine too, just slightly less convenient.

At this price I'd be concerned with the quality of the batteries. Long periods of disuse will kill the ability to recharge. Then you have to buy a whole new drill. I'd say for general home usage a corded version makes far more sense as they are more powerful and do not require charging.

I have their handheld chainsaw thing that I got for 25 bucks and works great. It comes with 2 batteries that are interchangeable with this set. These are great deals for light duty

I'd bet it would work for at least 2-3 years (with occasional use) before it's capacity significantly degraded by somewhere between 20%-30%. Replacement batteries are very abundant and super cheap, where I've seen a 2-pack on AliExpress for $28 so replacing the battery in a few years should be cheap and easy.

All of the Seesii tools I have use the Makita lxt connector. So even buying a higher quality Makita battery is an option. The Makita lxt platform has a lot of options, including official Makita tools.

Looks like they borrowed Makita's color scheme too 🙂
