Microsoft 365 Family with NordVPN Basic looks like a strong bundle for households that want Office access, shared installs, and cloud storage. The Family plan supports up to five users and mobile devices, with 10TB of cloud storage across the account, and the Microsoft code can be redeemed on Microsoft's site and stacked up to five years total. Nord codes also stack, though the subscription date may take a day or two to update and account activity can briefly trigger an error before it clears. The value lands best for people who will use both services, especially storage and Microsoft app compatibility.
People who want to lock in long-term Microsoft access, because the subscription can stack up to five years in one account.
Families sharing Microsoft apps across multiple devices, because the plan allows direct app installation for up to five users and includes 10TB of cloud storage.
People who already have an active Microsoft 365 account and want instant activation, because these codes may require vendor-site activation and can fail on an already-active account.
Yes. The code can be redeemed on the Microsoft site and added to an existing Microsoft 365 Family subscription, as long as you stay within Microsoft's stacking limit. Microsoft accounts can hold up to 5 years total at once.
Yes. Both Microsoft 365 and NordVPN can be stacked, and the bundle codes were successfully applied to both services. Nord may take a day or two to show the updated date when multiple subscriptions are added, and one account hit a temporary activity error after stacking multiple codes before succeeding later.
The Family plan allows installation for up to five users and includes 10TB of cloud storage across those users. It also includes cloud backup up to 4TB for some setups, which is a major reason to keep the subscription.
It can be worth it for both, but the strongest value here is often the storage: commenters describe it as roughly $7 per month for 6TB or as 10TB across Family users. Office access is still included and remains the main reason for people who need Microsoft's apps and Excel compatibility.
Whose buying this garbage when you can use libreoffice for free to replace office and thunderbird to replace outlook
People who have needs outside of those things you mentioned probably. Or people who prefer the Microsoft programs to Open Office and Thunderbird. We use both at work. They are similar but not equal.
I give my wife, my parents, and my sister one of my Microsoft activations. Cloud backup for up to 4TB right there. Well worth the cost for me. It's the primary reason I keep up with the subscription.
This is good for current pricing. Probably the last year I'm getting it. The cheap permanent codes are basically unlicensed. They work, but not legally. You may as well just pirate the software at that point without paying the thief int he middle. Anybody want to buy my copy of NordVPN?
Dangit! My annual subscription renewed this morning!
You can stack up to 5 years in your Microsoft account. I usually get around Black Friday but just dropped down to 3.5 years so will add another year now. Lock in the next 5 years at the current price!!
FYI - You cannot use Paze for this order, but you could do an order for Newegg $50 GC using Paze for only $40 after discount. Can even do this twice to get 2 $50 GC for $80 as my order goes up to $95 after taxes. Can add another $5 item for "free" but not sure how shipping is done by Newegg on that item.

Well, while some of the cloud office alternatives work pretty well, none really provide all the features that the current MSFT office suite does.and for many users there is a switching cost for sure.. but this FAMILY plan allows direct registered app installation for up to FIVE users and their devices including mobile devices (I don't think this counts against the five accounts installs),, and THEN there is the 10TB cloud storage across all those users.. so for the money, actually in todays world the pricing is still pretty solid - as much as we don't really like this transition from legacy OWNED vs. LEASED business model.
This can be stacked on your existing membership unless it is bought from 3rd party providers like Amazon. Any previous subscriptions activated from Newegg, Costco, or some other website, it should still work. You will receive codes to extend the license. If you are having Family, applying a 12-month Personal key will extend it by 9 months. Not sure how it works if you have Personal and applying a Family. Possibly, you existing personal will be converted to Family with reduced remaining time. Can't confirm that scenario.
Both Microsoft 365 and Nord can be stacked, although Microsoft will allow you to stack only up to 5 years in total (existing + newly applied). Nord didn't show any constraint and it will reflect immediately. Apply it from the website and just refresh the app, it will reflect immediately. I have stacked Nord up to 2035.
That deal was for one person, the family/6 person deal was actually more expensive in that older deal than this one. I use this for my family and just re-upped.
