Question is, would this work on Linux/Ubuntu?
Have always wondered, given equivalent specs, is a PCIe adapter always more efficient than a USB adapter? Or is the difference negligible?
amzaon has this price too.

Asus site for this product:
https://www.asus.com/us/networkin.../techspec/
My $0.02, If you need a cheap Wifi device for your PC/laptop, this will do the job.
most of people would only use AC or back to N standard, usually not both. AC speed is 867Mbps. Most of the time in the real world, it's about 50% ish of max speed which is just a bit less than or about 480Mbps of USB 2.0 port limit.
The driver only supports Windows 10 Windows 8.1 Windows 8 WindowsR 7 and Mac OS X 10.7 to 10.12
I think Asus means windows 7, there was never a Windows R7, nor WindowsR 7. But I dont have this product, so I am not 100% sure what Asus means.
Nothing about Linux. I dont know which chip Asus actually use to make this thing so Linux driver support may be crappy or just doesn't work on Linux.
