When you're willing to spend $1000+ on a soundbar kit, I have to wonder if it's really comparable to a traditional HT setup with separates (towers, receiver, etc). Adorama has good traditional packages for this price or less.

Takes up a lot of room, you have to run wires for surrounds etc. Soundbars sound amazing and are super easy to set up. Traditional is better but it's not half as easy.

Not a good deal IMO, considering you can get the the Q990f which is superior and costs way less.

There was an open box deal for fair/good/excellent condition units. Some of us got lucky with a scuffed up floor model in perfect working condition for $400. Others didnt Big Grin . so yes it was cheaper if you were okay with an open box
