The ones starting with the letter N or F are NAS and can do RAID data protection, as well as USB and Cloud archive.

I've got 80 TB of HDD's slapped together with a 8 year old laptop running a Plex server and 7 docker containers with a DAS, works great!
This model supports up to four drives, and its USB connection has enough bandwidth to run all four drives simultaneously at full speed. However, I would avoid using all four drives as part of the main array on an existing NAS.
A NAS array usually has at least one parity drive for redundancy. This allows you to rebuild a failed drive, depending on how many parity drives you have. The problem with this DAS is that all four drives connect to the NAS through a single USB connection. If that USB connection fails or drops for some reason, the NAS could suddenly lose access to all four drives at once.
That does not necessarily mean all four drives will become corrupted. Modern NAS operating systems generally handle unexpected disconnects fairly well. However, the risk is still there, especially if multiple array drives disappear at the same time. Unless you have enough parity protection to cover that failure scenario, recovery could become difficult.
So it can work, but I would be cautious about putting multiple critical array drives behind a single USB connection. At minimum, I would make sure the NAS and DAS are connected to a good UPS.
