I get that ebikes (e dirtbikes, fast scooters) can be a menace and that it's difficult to make useful policy, but lower powered bikes suck on steep hills. I don't want to shoot the messanger since these policies are getting common for a good reason, but discouraging the transition away from 6000lbs SUVs is a pretty stupid policy outcome.

This is a decent bike, I got one last year and use it occasionally. The bike goes 28mph and holds a decent charge, It has never ran out on me. The brakes are... well... terrible. I bought new pads for it and it's a little bit better, a complete swap would really do this bike some good. Overall, very satisfied other than the brakes and the 80+lbs it weighs.
