Oh man, do I feel like getting into a fight with my wife today?
hahahhahaha! Save your fight for another day. This is the same, soon to be 40 year old, design that DeWalt uses on their 50+lb corded boat anchors. Takes up a LOT of space. New designs by others are much better . And do you really need a 12" sliding miter saw when a 7 1/4" sliding miter saw will cut a 2x10? A decent 12" blade is almost another $100.

this is a jobsite saw not a shop saw, so what do you expect? Personally, i'm not a fan of the forward rail design, it just gets in my way.
The one bosch uses is nice but not $200-300 more nice over the dewalt, imo.
