The reviews seem good. I was reluctant to get them because I already have Hue lights, Govee curtain lights, and Twinkly outdoor lights. I wasn't keen on adding a fourth type, but I looked at used prices for the Twinkly and Govee alternatives to these and they were still at least double and sometimes 3x this price. I honestly thought I would never buy permanent lights like this because they're so expensive and I will likely need to pay someone to install them (two story eaves). But this is such a great deal that I couldn't resist.

Correct. I used the power adapter that was included with this set and a 5v step down buck converter to power the esp32 while routing the full 36v to the lights themselves. Only need the one data wire from esp 32 to the light stand. Was tricky getting these to play nice with wled though since there are two chips inside each light puck (one for rgb and one for white/cool white)
