That is correct. I have the .edu email, but not that's not enough for Sheer ID. I hope someone can post a workaround.

Once you submit the name and school name, they will ask you for documentation. It doesn't look like you can go back and change this. I submitted the wrong name and school and can't figure out a way to change it to the right one.

Funny thing is SheerID (what Google uses to verify student eligibility) most likely uses AI to scan your proof documents, and they are not accepting any documents I upload at all, not even the college ID which they suggest.

wait did you just try and they ask for sheer id now? i think it got abused so badly last year but they let it because they really wanted people to use it.

It's not asking for you to log into Sheer id. It uses Sheer id to verify the information you enter. It asks for name, school, and email. Once you submit this, it will ask for you to upload the documentation like tuition bill, student id with expiration date, etc. Just keep in mind once you submitted name and school, you can't change it. I made a mistake and submitted the name of my kid who just graduated. I should have used the kid who is still in school, but now I can't change it.
