That's a nice laptop at a great price. I don't want to think about how many minutes that battery will last though

Id get this one and once it arrives open it up to get the exact RAM stick model to find an identical on eBay and have 32GB. Even if you wait to upgrade the RAM I think you will like this one better based on reviews.

It's rough. Had this with JUST the 14th gen I7 and 5060 and it was sub 2 hours battery life with the DGPU off brand new.

This laptop even refurbished>>>>>>the A16 and it's not even close in my opinion. You get one of the prettiest screens on this laptop generation in the 15" Legion 5 OLED, and you get the reliable build quality of a Legion compared to the normally mediocre build quality of Gigabyte. Also the Gigabyte apparently has a massively depowered 85W 5070 vs this full power one. Wow also the gigabyte only shipped with a 150W power brick, so it can't even run the GPU+CPU at full speed even with that downgrade.

yeah, this one. Not close.

Good find. I ended up returning my Gigabyte A16 for this lmao. I was even about to open it up today but I guess I'm going to Walmart tomorrow 😬

Depends on whether this has issues like what my Legion 7 16ACHG6 had (and many others had the same) where it bricks itself out of warranty because of bad cpu solder

I chatted with a Lenovo sales rep online. He confirmed that it's 2X8GB.

How about https://www.lenovo.com/us/outletu...83f0x005us

Pros and cons and is it worth $200+ more?

Appreciate it, I tried to chat myself earlier but the button never appeared for some reason.

I expected 2x8GB meaning to go to 32GB I'd have to spend ~$400 extra. Still a decent deal but not sure it's worth it for me at that point due to the older power-hungry processor when the newer intel ultra based model with the same configuration is ~$1800 refurbished

You can resell the 2 X 8GB to offset the cost. I found a legit Kingston Fury 2 X 16 for $280 OBO on eBay. My rough estimate is that it will cost you ~$200 net to upgrade.
