I did this deal yesterday at my local Best Buy in Yorba Linda, CA Best Buy. I purchased online for pickup. It was ready within an hour, i brought my grey Switch 1 with power cable, dock and straps. I completed the trade in and the only thing they required was the console w/joycons and the power cable. He let me keep the docs and straps. They said they just recycled the other parts. I also had the same issue as the other poster about the rep saying I only get $75 back, i showed the receipt, the manager came and showed me the screen that it does shows $75 trade in and $75 for trade in promo with Switch 2 purchase. He said the $150 will be refunded back to my credit card within 48 hours. Process was easy, the only quality check they did was they made sure it turned on and that iis it.

Anyone who is down voting this must be absolutely trolling. The response time on the Switch 2 is a blurry mess at it's best. If you can't tell the difference between response times from a decent LCD or OLED panel you must be on something.

Be warned. Best Buy is not giving the bonus $75. I have the Switch that had the mario kart digital game bundle. They said it might be limited to certain sku's to qualify, but the actual ones are not listed anywhere. If anyone else got it to work please post here.

For those trading in stores, how closely do they inspect? My OLED sometimes turns on, sometimes don't, and sometimes with lines on the screen. I'll be happy to get rid of it.

Did this today and got $205 as a refund towards the purchase with my oled trade in. No Brainer for me because I just dock it and play on the TV. Rarely use it as a handheld. Saved my data to the cloud and was up and running in no time. Much faster loading times and better graphics on the TV.

I just did mine today. All they did was power on and asked for charger cable. Didn't really test anything.
I can't really say they inspected it much but I guess you have a chance if it all lined up for you. Turned on cue with no lines…

Tempted but was waiting for a screen or battery revision. Leaked Zelda switch looks dope. Sam's Club + Costco eshop deals may have been better. Not sure which game I'd get anyway. I prefer physical media. I still may do it. Oled is going to be like $700. $300 out the door isn't bad. My launch oled switch is basically brand new. However o couldn't get it to work with the nitrodeck game cube edition.

Yes they took my v1 switch. Was able to get $150 off my total.
