Am I the only PC gamer who doesn't really care which launcher loads my game before I play it? A free game on Epic, GOG, Amazon, Steam, whatever is equally nice for me. You are right that Epic Launcher is inferior to Steam, but the games run the same once you start them.

I didn't know Epic was still doing free games. Neato. I'll add it to the launcher I never use. They need to focus on making Epic better than Steam but they can't because Steam is private and for gamers while Epic is publicly traded and garbage. Good luck, Epic!
they give away at least one game a week every Thursday.

This is only available on PC. You can check this by going to the link and seeing what platforms it is available on, the title of the post also says "PCDD" meaning PC Digital Download.

Um...you are mistaken.

Epic Games is a private company and does not trade on any public stock exchange.

How did they get so many upvotes? It's clearly an ai slop game, there is no information about this game or publisher when you look up this game anywhere else.

For me, it's because I clicked on "I bought this". I don't see any obvious AI indications, but instead I see that this game is made with low effort and bare gameplay. This "deal" should not be frontpage.

Ahh, if growing food was only as simple as yelling GIVE ME WATERMELON at the ground.

I added it to my account, will never play it, I'm sure this benefits the lazy developers still somehow.
