Is this another one of LG's false advertisements of televisions using Mini led? Samsung and LG have both shipped a model of tv this year that claims they are mini led sets, when in fact...they are not at all.

One lady paid $200 to have a professional tech service test it. And, it is nothing more than a direct lit LED set. She sent that report to LG, and LG asked her to sign an agreement with them to not discuss the matter in public, and in return they would send her an OLED set.

these are two of the models that are fake:

2026 LG QNED 75B mini led
2026 Samsung M70H mini led

Samsungs has zero dimming zones. And uses software instead.

This is not true. They did a panel change out in 2026. Older ones are not mini-LED and are direct back lightning while the newer ones have mini-LED panels. To lower the price they removed local dimming. This didn't affect picture quality as much and hence lower priced Mini-LED TV's.
I was confused how they got the price of mini-LED's down so fast so I did some research. Anyways mystery solved.

So whatever you said is false or just product confusion on the buyers part. LG would also not send out a e-mail or letter like that because it would be admitting fraud. When you make stuff up try to at least make it up with lawyers in mind that are use to billion dollar lawsuits. These are not Better Call Saul, shopping center lawyers.
