The 1 star reviews all say the same thing, the amount of bloatware and ads in this thing are incredible. Many reported that they cant be Uninstalled. Just FYI.

Lenovo Idea Tab is a budget 11 inch Android tablet that stands out for its sharp 2.5K 90Hz screen, 8GB of RAM, and bundled Tab Pen and folio case. It gets praise for media use, with good picture quality, solid battery life, and a build that feels better than typical budget tablets. The main drawbacks are heavy preinstalled bloatware, sponsored apps, and reports of sluggish performance, with some setup storage eaten by Android and bundled apps. A few comments also flag slow charging, a weak case stand, and no clear support for external displays over USB C.

  • The screen delivers good media viewing with a 90Hz refresh rate and anti-fingerprint 2.5K touch panel.

    RazzleDazzle4Viol8tor

  • The device can handle streaming use well, with solid battery life reported during near-max brightness.

    RazzleDazzle4Viol8tor

  • The preinstalled apps can be reduced during setup, and most bloatware reportedly can be removed.

    SensibleHealth672Viol8tor

  • The tablet includes a Tab Pen and Folio Case in the box, which reduces accessory shopping needs.

    powerfuldoppler

  • The tablet can feel sluggish or laggy, which makes it a poor fit for smooth multitasking.

    SharpCaribou6442IndigoFeather904

  • Preinstalled bloatware and sponsored apps can be excessive, and some reports say certain apps cannot be uninstalled.

    salvio007Daniel1954

  • Netflix reportedly fails to work in picture-in-picture mode, and troubleshooting did not resolve the issue.

    Indy4exe

  • External display support is unclear, and one buyer could not confirm DP Alt Mode over USB-C for connecting monitors or TVs.

2.4ghz processor vs 2.2ghz processor. Both are octa-core.
Plus 8gb RAM vs 6gb, pen, case, and probably build quality.

Can someone please recommend an inexpensive tablet my children can use for online lessons over zoom? I had a couple fire tablets however zoom no longer works if trying to use the child account on them.

Good for gifts, not for yourself. I paid $180 when they were real slick, bought 3 for gifts. Takes hours to charge. Picture quality is real good though. The case as a stand is not very good. I can't say I would recommend for this price.

I have this tablet and its servicing me well. I mainly use it for watching streaming services. Yes it had alot of bloatware so that took a while to debloat but other than that its a pretty solid device with good screen with 90hz refresh rate. Solid battery life so far while using almost-max brightness. Wont be as impressive as more expensive OLED screens but this is a solid price. I got mine at bestbuy when it dipped down to $179 but 200 seems to be an average price. Lenovo website has the 8GB at $229 currently
