Woot is Amazon, buying anything outside of major Apple products from Amazon is ignorant at best, stupid at worst. Ive purchased multple laptop chargers, shipped and sold by Amazon, fake. Multiple BRAIDED USBC apple cords, turned out to be fake when using my power meter. Only place safe to order shit from Apple is Apple itself and possibly Best Buy but even they have opened the third market up so who knows how they store their items because Amazon stores authentic items with fakes and these days faking an Apple serial number is super easy. People eat off scamming others from Apple accessories on Amazon. Even got a fake otterbox iphone case one time so it's not just specific to apple products but the biggest culprits are the charging bricks and charging cables. People should think twice when buying charging cables that are cheap and then plug that cable into their $800-1200 iPhone. If the phone costs $100 sure use a $1 charger, but thats not the case what's spending an extra $10-20 and purchasing it from a legit site?

I'm sure there has been fake stuff there. My experience has been good. My Ink Leather Link band from Woot failed and I was able to take it into an Apple store and get a replacement under warranty. The Ink sports band I ordered from this Woot deal previously looks completely legit as far as I can tell. That doesn't mean everyone who orders from this will get legit stuff but so far people seem to be seeing that.

I've only ever bought knockoffs but end up going back to the OG because the differences are noticeable over time. The fit, tolerance, material, etc. That said, I wouldn't pay $50 for a band (or $100 like my Ultra's ocean band) new. But it's a testament to their quality control that my apple/nike band from the iWatch 6 is still in use today with no degradation. The knockoffs are just for the occasional change of color for fun.
