This ultra slim 5000mAh MagSafe power bank stands out for its thin, lightweight design and strong magnetic attachment, making it handy for pockets, travel, and emergency top ups. It works well through some cases, holds its charge, and the USB C port is the better choice when full capacity matters. Wireless charging is repeatedly described as slow, and the unit can run warm or hot during use. Reliability concerns also appear, including units failing after a few months and reports of thicker plastic versions than the listing photos suggest.
Common Questions (5)
It can get warm to hot during wireless charging, and some units have been reported to run very hot. A newer version is said to reduce heat dissipation, but the slim 5,000mAh design still tends to trade thermals for portability.
Yes, the main advantage is its slim, low-bulk design, and it is described as quite thin and not clunky. It also works through cases like Spigen Rugged Armor and OtterBox, which makes it practical for everyday carry.
Some units have failed after 2 to 4 months, but warranty replacements have been honored and replacements were provided without much hassle. Other owners report units still going strong after a year or more, so longevity appears inconsistent.
The 7.5W wireless charging is slow and is best for keeping a phone alive rather than fully charging it quickly. If you want the most usable capacity, the USB-C port is the better choice because wireless charging loses more power to heat.
It has a strong magnetic connection and can work through thicker cases such as Spigen Rugged Armor and OtterBox. That makes it usable as a snap-on backup charger without removing the case.
