Community Reviews
Kingroon PLA is positioned as a budget filament that can print reliably and deliver solid value, especially for everyday use and high speed setups when the right profile is chosen. The black PLA and related PLA and PETG spools are described as working well across large amounts of use, with strong results on functional parts and no tangled spools. Color quality is a recurring tradeoff, with some shades looking less vibrant than pricier brands. Quality control can also be uneven, with occasional clogging, poor bed adhesion, or thicker spots on a spool, so drying and tuning may be needed.
Volume buyers stocking multiple spools for routine PLA or PETG work, because 20+ kg and 30 kg runs were used without issues and the filament was described as consistent.
High-speed FDM printers needing a cheap PLA that can still print cleanly at faster settings, because it has been used successfully on fast printers and can handle high-speed profiles.
Functional part makers printing durable toys or everyday objects, because the filament has been reported as plenty strong and reliable for moving prints.
Users who want every spool to behave identically without tuning, because some spools can clog, stick poorly, or vary in diameter and layer adhesion.
Prints that need vivid orange or highly saturated colors, because the orange shade can look dull and the overall palette is less vibrant than competing filaments.
People printing on a machine that already struggles with first-layer adhesion, because this PLA can fail to stick to the plate and may clog the extruder.

I use AI to tune my slicer settings
I didn't care about filament print speeds when all I had was an Ender 3, because it was impossible for that to exceed what the filament could handle and still have good geometry on all exterior sides of the print. Today, with a high speed printer, I've seen what happens when you try to print infill at 300mm/sec with filament that's only rated for 40-60mm speeds (the infill starts looking like swiss cheese), so I just don't want to buy anything that can't handle a minimum of 200mm/sec (either by official rating or user feedback that a filament still works well beyond the stated range).
For me it's mixed results across any brand/color.
I don't like this cheaper color mix. Everything else is more expensive.
For reference, I am mostly printing with toolchangers. (U1 and C5Pro)
