To me this is the going rate for what this stuff should sell for. I've had zero issues and I've ran 20+ kg of their PLA/PETG.

What kinds of print speeds can you achieve with this filament and still have things come out well?

I've gone through about 7kg of my last batch of these, and it's been great. Printed just as well as any other PLA. Then I put in spool #8 and it clogs every layer or two. Tried 3 or 4 times, same deal. Swapped to Anycubic PLA, and the problem went away. I think I'm going to dump the entire spool ... considering that I only paid $4.80/spool after the coupon and the cashback site I used, I can dump one and it's still a great deal (I did try cutting ~10-20ft off, but it continued to have problems). I still bought another 20kg, though ... for the price, it's worth a little hassle.

Never had any issues with Kingroon PLA or PETG, I have 20 spools of each in rainbow, 20 spools each in black

Depends on the model, I rarely run at full speed

I use AI to tune my slicer settings

Other than if you have a crazy model with insane overhangs that need to br printed very slowly to come out right, the model you're printing shouldn't have much of any effect on print speeds; that would be based on how good your printer is, and how fast the filament can melt.

I didn't care about filament print speeds when all I had was an Ender 3, because it was impossible for that to exceed what the filament could handle and still have good geometry on all exterior sides of the print. Today, with a high speed printer, I've seen what happens when you try to print infill at 300mm/sec with filament that's only rated for 40-60mm speeds (the infill starts looking like swiss cheese), so I just don't want to buy anything that can't handle a minimum of 200mm/sec (either by official rating or user feedback that a filament still works well beyond the stated range).

it is not crap, but I personally think their colors are not vibrant as others. Still, Kingroon offers best value

For me it's mixed results across any brand/color.

I don't like this cheaper color mix. Everything else is more expensive.

IMO Kingroon is best value for both PLA and PETG color mixes and I've ordered probably about 30kg of it so far. As someone said, their colors are not super vibrant but I haven't had issues with using it, nor any tangled spools. They are inexpensive and satisfactory enough for me not to worry about purchasing other filament.
For reference, I am mostly printing with toolchangers. (U1 and C5Pro)

try drying it for a day (not really need that long of a time), then try again. this is my go to for my prints. it's plenty strong for what i use for my functional toys that move.

i got the same issues on couple spools as well, the issue was there are certain spots has much wider than 1.75mm and it looks like they merged the leftovers into one spool, but their QC or the way doing it is not good.
