Community Reviews
Kingroon PLA is positioned as a budget filament that can print reliably and deliver solid value, especially for everyday use and high speed setups when the right profile is chosen. The black PLA and related PLA and PETG spools are described as working well across large amounts of use, with strong results on functional parts and no tangled spools. Color quality is a recurring tradeoff, with some shades looking less vibrant than pricier brands. Quality control can also be uneven, with occasional clogging, poor bed adhesion, or thicker spots on a spool, so drying and tuning may be needed.
Kingroon PETG can print reliably and consistently without problems for some users.
Kingroon PLA and PETG can run for large total usage amounts without failed prints.
Kingroon filament can work well when matched with appropriate profiles, such as using a Sunlu PETG profile in Orca.
Kingroon PLA and PETG can be strong enough for functional moving toys after drying briefly.
Some Kingroon PLA batches can clog the extruder frequently, including clogging every layer or two.
Some filament orders can require extra tuning, including slower and hotter settings for certain materials compared with high-speed workflows.
Some spools can show QC issues, including spots wider than 1.75mm that suggest merged leftovers.
Some Kingroon PLA can have poor adhesion to the plate and may require repeated extruder disassembly.

I use AI to tune my slicer settings
I didn't care about filament print speeds when all I had was an Ender 3, because it was impossible for that to exceed what the filament could handle and still have good geometry on all exterior sides of the print. Today, with a high speed printer, I've seen what happens when you try to print infill at 300mm/sec with filament that's only rated for 40-60mm speeds (the infill starts looking like swiss cheese), so I just don't want to buy anything that can't handle a minimum of 200mm/sec (either by official rating or user feedback that a filament still works well beyond the stated range).
For me it's mixed results across any brand/color.
I don't like this cheaper color mix. Everything else is more expensive.
For reference, I am mostly printing with toolchangers. (U1 and C5Pro)
