For those interested in the solar panels as well as the power station, consider the bundle for 869 which is also 20% off. Search 343824471 on the home Depot site to find the bundle

Are those panels worth it?

Ordered on the last deal (through shopmyexchange so no tax either). Ordered a 400w bifacial panel from mhpowos on aliexpress and the combo is working great. The panel runs around $370 on aliexpress so around $900 total for both, and is able to hit the full solar charge rate of 400w

For my setup, paying the extra premium for the native bundle made the most sense. Here's why the math and trade-offs worked out for me:
* Triage Runway: The 2 kWh battery runs a fridge ~30–35 hrs solo. The 200W panel generates ~800–1,000 Wh/day in decent sun, which extends triage time across my fridge and freezers to 3+ days without hunting for a place to recharge.
* Effective Bundle Discount: The panel retails around $400 on its own, but in the $869 bundle, the effective cost drops to ~$270 on top of the base unit.
* Storage Durability: Cheap 3rd-party panels often use PET plastic that degrades or delaminates after sitting in a closet. Anker uses ETFE coating and has a 5-year warranty, so I know it will actually work if it sits unused for 3 years.
* Zero Guesswork / Space Saving: At ~11 lbs, it folds down flat like an artist portfolio to slide under a bed. Plus, it plugs straight in with matched cables—no buying separate MC4 adapters or troubleshooting connections in the dark during an outage.
Could I have saved $80–$100 going third-party? Probably, but for a "set-and-forget" emergency backup, paying a slight premium for the seamless fit, 5-year warranty, and compact storage was worth it for my use case.

How cheap has the Bluetti 200 V2 gone? I've got two of these already and vastly like them more than my Delta Mini and Delta 2, They have Time of Use (TOU) native as part of the app and a lot of videos have praised the idle power consumption. One is on my network/homelab and powershifts during peak hours (4-10pm), then recharges during off peak. I'm tempted to get another, but will wait for it to hit $500 reliably to start slowly cycling out my old Lead Acid UPSs because these should last longer than having to keep replacing lead acid.

I think my biggest gripe with this is that they dont have a 12v dc port. Otherwise, it would be perfect for camping too and not just for house hold use.

i read the ac inverter on these are great. what about buying an ac to dc adapter. could use a portable fridge with that. or use ac cord with fridge most come with it anyway.

Shopmyexchange, they have a home depot section of the site and it just forwards you to them to pick the item, then back to shopmyexchange for checkout

This Anker has some nice specs, but IMO it is for very specific usage and not a great option to keep a household up and running if you have a prolonged outage. 1500 watts is limiting unless you are good unplugging everything when running a kettle to boil water or heat something up in a small toaster oven. Those are 1200-1500 watt appliances EACH.

The Bluetti has some drawbacks such as no upgrade path to add another battery, less recharge cycles. But if the objective is to literally keep the lights on, the refrig. running and heat some food up in a in a air fryer / toaster oven then the Bluettis 2600 watts will do them all simultaneously.

Personally I prefer to have options such as a 2000 watt gas generator for running high drain devices which are anything that heats up food / water / air and of course recharge your Anker / Bluetti battery when the sun isn't shining and the grid is down.
