Even though this is technically a (considered best in class) "wind jacket," it also gets great reviews for rain protection, and the only reason I won't jump on the deal is, it drives me absolutely bananas this model does not have front slash pockets. I get it, the intended use is for running/hiking/climbing, but it's just not for me.
