Alright, I'll try this to replace my 20 yr old Brother P-Touch with the annoying small LCD and keyboard.

Is a better choice for around same price that doesn't require you to use a companion app which has issues.

Are you saying the proprietary app is better on this product? Or is there some way to use any of these without their proprietary apps?

Only issue is the stickers aren't as sticky as the brother. There need to be a middle ground between brother labels being stuck with rubber cement and these being stuck with hairspray adhesive

They all use some proprietary app. The one @Reminiser16 linked uses "Nada Print." The one I have uses NIIM or NIIMBOT which seem to be almost the same thing

Are you locked into their brand with the labels? My current printer takes third-party labels just fine.

This is also my question. My Niimbot only takes the more expensive Niimbot labels.

Have this one and like it. The included app doesn't hound you to pay for upgrades like the NIIMBOT app does.
