I have the 3.5 Bluetooth version on my desk. They sound great and have nice even frequency response. The 4.5's should sound even fuIler. I can't imagine anyone not liking these at this price point unless you absolutely need a sub.

Edit: this model does not have Bluetooth despite the slickdeals description.

Correct, model E4.5 doesn't have Bluetooth. That why, I DID NOT put Bluetooth in the description. Model with Bluetooth should be "E4.5BT". But on Woot website did but in Bluetooth under description. So either Woot website put the "WRONG MODEL NUMBER" or "WRONG DESCRIPTION".

Yeah, these monitor speaker is SOUND GOOD. I had the Mackie CR3-X. And I just bought a pair of Harbinger SM505 few days ago too. If not, I would get this one already.

Options for adding a subwoofer...

  1. A studio monitor subwoofer with input and output: Audio source >>> studio monitor subwoofer >>> studio monitors.
  2. Split the signal from a computer to both the speakers and a subwoofer.
  3. Speaker wire connection to a subwoofer with speaker wire inputs or a speaker level to line level converter to a subwoofer without speaker wire input. Connect the speaker to subwoofer wire to either speaker doubling up on the speaker to speaker wire connection. This is only using one channel however the bass is non directional and usually the same on both channels.
