I read this isn't very good on 110v outlets. Is that still true?

At least per the specs it should run on a 15 amp circuit. It requires 1690 watts at max load which leaves little wiggle room for the 1800 watts on a 15 amp circuit. The air fryer isn't considered a continuous load so you should be okay up to 1800 watts; however, anything else on the circuit and you might trip a breaker.

If you can, plug into a 120v 20 amp circuit. That gives you 2400 watts to play with and won't quickly trip the breaker if you simultaneously use other products on the circuit.

I'm of no help for the quality of this product though. I'm looking for an air fryer too, obviously. The price is somewhat meh when looking at camelcamelcamel. It was down to $130 last black friday.

I've had this since November 2024. It's still working great and we use it everyday. I paid $125 at that time.

At full power you can run only one basket. If you use two baskets simultaneously the manual states that you should expect up to 70% longer cook time which is inline with my experience. To get something crispy you are forced to use a single basket.
