FYI this is the GRE, not the regular 9070. It has 12GB VRAM vs 16GB on the regular 9070. It is also significantly slower than the 9070 (similar performance to a 7800 XT). Here is a chart that shows relative performance compared to other modern GPUs. https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net...mB8vYN.png

Thanks for pointing this out. I've built tons of computers over the years but not since i got a 3080 right when they were released. Now that my M.2 died, I'm looking at upgrading my z490 setup, but the prices are crazy. This 9070 GRE isn't worth the upgrade from a 3080 for me. I'll save my money, hoping for a AM5 board and ddr5 deal miracle someday

This $480 GRE deal is very much worth it as it's significantly faster than 9060 XT that went up in price a lot, and it's significantly cheaper than regular 9070. GRE sits right in the middle of 9060 XT 16GB and 9070 16GB while actually offering a better price-value considering that it's the only card that did not go up in price like all others

It'll depend a lot on where you're starting from and what you want to do. For me, moving from a 3080, the best deal seems like the 9070 xt for $730. But, the cost of ram is making me want to wait until the next gen processors come out before I upgrade the rest of my stuff.
