this is on ebay refurbished. Looking to buy my daughter who is a teacher this for birthday. Im at a loss with the technology now days. Really appreciate any feedback on this or recommendations on something else. Thanks and take care

a link to a comparable item and a price range you want to pay can be more helpful in judging what would work for you. 32gb and 1tb along with the ultra 9 should be more then powerful enough for her assuming no heavy duty gaming or no heavy duty local ai. Sorry about my short first response.

i would grab it for that price especially with ebay refurbishing usually coming with 1 or 2 years of warranty. the only hesitation i would have would be for heavy duty aaa gaming or local ai but otherwise it sounds good. Harder and harder to find 32gb ram with 1tb for that price range and 288v on the higher end laptop processor.

no problem. 700 to 800 is what i would like to spend. this or something refurbished from dell is another option. Just hoping something refurbished from acer will be good or if problems they will make it right.

It's hard to recommend something without knowing how the computer is being used. If this is for light productivity (checking emails, web browsing), streaming etc. then you probably don't need this.

The 32gb of RAM is nice long term but minimum 16gb

thanks for the feedback its hard for me im not very tech savvy. She will be using it for emails, school work elementary teacher, doing online teaching lessons camera needed, watching movies at home. If anything else would suit her needs please give me feedback on what else to look at. Guess i could ask her but wanted it to be a surprise for her birthday.

looking at the latitude refurbished on dell but it concerns me that seems most 2021 and 2022 processors. Will that change getting 5 to 7 years out of it?
