Oh shoot, you're right. Completely missed the 16gb in the title! It was the 8gb version that was 300
There were a boatload of 8/256 and even a few 8/128 models (they were EDU-only when originally released).
Imagine getting a beat-up kids laptop, after six years of use, with zero actual refurbishment (wipe down and power test is all they do). And then having only 128gb of storage. Hmm.
Need a laptop for my teen... and this is very tempting . Anyone have experience with the seller? What's the expected support for the m1? I will google it too.
I have an m1 now for myself and it's still plenty chugging along.
Her one school does run Microsoft 365, but that's cloud so don't believe it'd be an issue on this?

The seller is very reputable and has been posted here numerous of times. However, I can't speak on the condition of the laptop as it's labeled as 'Good - Refurbished', but according to most of the reviews on their eBay store page, users were generally satisfied with what they received.

Thanks. Trying to decide between this or an asus s16 vivo book 16gb 1 ssd used "like new" with no warranty for roughly $650... I've not been in the game for laptop buying for years...
So i bought this exact model from tekdeals a few months ago, for 450, practically brand new condition and a new battery with full capacity. obviously a ymmv but at the least quite happy with what I got.
