Have one of these. Not bad of your cutting very thin tips of branches, but wish it could do more. Needs like 2-3 times the power. I've been on the lookout for a 40v brushless version for a while to replace it

If weight is not a concern, I would just go for the EGO 26-inch 56V. This Worx trimmer is light. Perfect older women to use.

It is sold at this price for over a month now and I ordered it over a month ago and still haven't received it. Others have the same experience, check older threads on this.

I've used quite a few battery powered trimmers. None of them do well with overgrown shrubs with thick stalks. You should invest in light little battery powered chainsaw for that. This does just fine with thinner stuff. You can get a cheap adapter and use whatever batteries you have. I bought it for like $60 with a WORX battery. I sold the battery and the charger for like $40, so I only had $20 in it. I bought an adapter and use my Ridgid batteries with it. They work perfectly.
