This is amazing deal. I got a 42 LG C4 for 700 two years ago. I'm using as a monitor. I think I can I can go up to 48. 😂

I beleive in this size the b and the c are the same. No additional brightness. I think what you might get is 144hz. But the b5 is priced at 550 at times....

I went down the rabbit hole for the best TV monitor, and if I recall correctly, the 42" was the best for productivity due to text clarity. I can't recall or explain why; however, the 48" was still an excellent choice, but the 42" had perfect DPI matching or something. So, I snatched up this 48" because it was $200 less than the 42" at $899 less than a year ago. For productivity, it's spot-on, and the clarity of text looks perfect for coding-related tasks, Word, and whatnot.

Because of its design as a TV and not an actual monitor, some slight modifications are necessary on any operating system to get the text clarity perfect, but they are simple settings solutions because real monitors have different formatting or something I cannot recall.

But if anyone needs a monitor or a TV in this case for productivity, this is a steal of a deal with the warranty.

I can't speak about gaming, as I don't game, and burn-in—which I read about—has not been an issue at all, even with a static taskbar and icons that don't move. The monitor (or TV in this case) has pixel shifting, and it does something every once in a while when you shut it totally off to clear something or another that I don't understand. So, it has built-in safety features to help with any potential burn-in, which again, I have not experienced.

For the price-to-value and what you are getting, it is an amazing deal for an amazing product for my use case, which again is productivity—AND it's superior as a TV too! My only complaint overall is that it has way too many settings to tinker with to get it exactly perfect as a monitor when fine-tuning everything. I guess it's better to have more settings than not so you can fine-tune it, but it's just complicated. Once it's set up correctly, though, the text is laser-sharp without any edge glow whatsoever.

Wait, a 48" OLED is nice for a "small bedroom?" Your definition of room sizes and mine must be vastly different. Even for a larger bedroom, a 48" OLED going to be a rather large TV. Regardless, this is a really good deal.

Edit - noticed it has Microsoft CoPilot AI built in, and the 5 yr warranty is an Allstate warranty valued at $85 (see it's mentioned in the post, but missed it at first).

Good deal on the 48" C5. Stock has dried up recently and these are hard to find, much less for anything less then $1K+. And the C6s are about $1250 on sale.

You can occasionally find better deals (size/cost ratio) on the larger sizes, but the 48" is a harder one to find a deal for currently.

In for one - replacing my C1 48" monitor.

The S90H is currently the highest rated 48 inch in Consumer Reports test. I wonder if that would be a better choice as a monitor because of the matte screen. The 48 inch also uses a RGB tandem panel, if anyone cares.

I could be wrong. I thought if a price ends at .91 , it's the final markdown.
