$229 on Amazon DEWALT FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX* Battery, 12.0-Ah (DCB612) - Amazon.com - for some reason I cannot post links.

Later Edit: While this is cheaper, it's also the older ion battery technology, so for most if not all people, the newer DCB6112 battery design is a significant improvement, easily worth the extra $10 plus forgoing the Amazon Prime 5% / etc. discount. OP's deal is the superior deal.

DCB6112 is the new tabless while DCB612 is the older tabbed.

Any ideas on what the longevity and quality is on the new 12ah? Old 12s would die, but the 9s are awesome.

Agreed. More importantly for most, the new tabless ion battery technology has 50% more runtime and 50% more lifetime/longevity compared to the older tab 612 ion technology / design.
