If I want to guarantee 2 adults to sit next to a child, I need Economy, not Basic Economy, right?

I'm looking to travel April or May. Could Korean Airlines or Asiana get lower prices than it is now? I know it won't go as low as this UA deal

If you want to select your seats, yes, book regular economy.

Honestly, $640 vs $820 is almost nothing compared to the overall cost of the trip. If it works for your dates, then awesome.

With 2 kids, we've considered just getting the adults regular economy (incl bags and seats) and then just calling the airline to ensure the kids sit with us, which is most of their policies. But I'm too chicken...maybe if I did it within the 24h cancellation window.

Are you suggesting that regular economy UA might be the right option? Is there a flight tracker that offers alerts or bookmarking of very flexible dates filtering plus airline filter? I'm willing to pay a little more premium for Korean Airlines or maybe even Asiana. I'm not sure why it has to be this difficult haha
