You couldn't be any more right, except this for my wifey, who's other Lasko died a few months ago. She uses hers in the office even when it's 100 degrees outside. She's always cold.

I have had a half dozen or so of these 1500 watt heaters over the years. Most ratings I have seen give high marks to the brand "GiveBest". I don't think I have paid over $20 for any of mine. They are nice for turning the temp down and facing it to you when working at the computer. I also use one in the bathroom where there is only a slow to heat baseboard heater. The only flaw is that when it gets cold in my garage or cabin in winter the fan fails unless you have kept it warm before using. Tip over protection is also and issue with some.

Tiny heaters like this will provide a small amount of heat but use the same amount of energy that a larger heater would take, so keep in mind that if YOU are paying for the electricity you may want to consider a way to heat the whole room instead of just your feet. It could be the same price in the long run.

1,500W uses the exact same electricity regardless of heater size. But, heating just your feet is quicker and cheaper than heating the air in an entire room.

I can tell you my versions of these heaters will certainly heat an entire room. I use one at work in the winter and it heats a 18 x 15 office nicely. I use another one in my home bathroom and it also heats the room nicely.

I bought this exact unit from Walmart 2 years ago around the same price, not female lol but I get into the office at 530am and it gets chilly in the morning in fall and winter. The first thing that broke was the plastic dial that turns the thing on. I mean, it broke before I even was able to turn it on the first time. I did an online refund, they just gave me my money back and was told to keep it. I just used a scissor to turn the knob and left it in the on position, just unplug it when I want it off. Live with it, but using cheap plastic on the most critical part of the unit (that gets the most movement) is just chef's kiss.
