The Backbone One USB C controller is a compact mobile gaming grip that works well for fast paced play and feels better than Bluetooth for this setup. The $20 range is the main draw, especially since retail feels too high for occasional use. USB C models appear to be Gen 2, and the controller can be a good fit for remote play. Reported caveats include ribbon cable wear over time, possible case fit issues, and inconsistent used condition from the seller.
The controller can keep working for faster-paced games when the setup is right.
The internal cable can wear out, but the cable is reportedly replaceable.
The controller can work well enough for remote play use cases.
The controller can arrive in like-new condition even when compatibility issues occur.
The controller may not fit or function properly with an OtterBox Defender case.
The controller can stop working when the internal ribbon cable fails after years of use.
The controller may fail to work with a Pixel 11 Pro when used with a case.
The seller's used listings may show heavy wear even when items are labeled used.
