Community Reviews
The DJI Neo 2 Fly More Combo stands out as a compact 4K camera drone for travel, vlogging, and casual FPV flying. The bundle is praised for easy control options, including controller, phone, goggles, hand gestures, and even autonomous flight, plus obstacle avoidance, GPS return to home, and a stabilized gimbal that makes the footage feel far above toy drones. Battery life is the main limitation, with flight time described as around 10 minutes, and DJI Refresh is no longer sold for US units. Shipping is reported as fast from the USA or Texas, though customs delays and extra sales tax or fees have also been raised.
Common Questions (5)
Sales tax can add to the checkout total, and one buyer saw nearly $20 in added fees. A coupon or cashback can offset that, with reported totals ranging from about $285 to about $520 out the door depending on discounts and tax.
It is described as beginner-friendly, with self-leveling, GPS return-to-home, and obstacle avoidance that helps avoid crashes. It can still hit trees or need some experience for tighter flying, and obstacle avoidance may need to be turned off for very precise threading.
It is listed as shipping from the USA, and one purchase was delivered within about a week. Another comment says it ships from Texas, so domestic shipping appears to be the norm for this deal.
It is a compact drone suited for travel, vlogging, and casual content creation, and it can fly with a controller, phone, goggles, or on its own. Gesture control and follow-me modes are highlighted as useful for capturing yourself and surroundings without needing someone else to film.
Battery life is commonly described as around 10 minutes before it returns home. That is enough for short runs and beginner flights, but it is much shorter than larger drones.

As a whole:
Mini:
much better battery life, better camera, likely more stable in higher winds due to larger size
Neo 2:
Nearly indestructible (there's videos of a guy running into a concrete wall at like 35MPH and it still works), follow me mode that works with just hand gestures, FPV option, much more compact, doesn't need a remote at all if you don't want.
