normal amazon price on this is not %1099. it's $670. Not great RTINGS review, bad motion blur, viewing angle, and image uniformity. It does get very bright and for the money should be a decent buy. Still rates higher then the competing tcl.

If your talking something like the QM6k...whichever has the better price if one doesn't have anything make or break to you over the other. They are pretty comparable overall, just in slightly different strengths and weaknesses getting there. For example personally if price were dead equal I'd go TCL just because Google > fire to me, but not something I'd pass up a good deal over.

Aren't the TCL considered a touch more reliable?

I had two thoughts when seeing your comment:
1) Why on Earth are you installing Spectrum apps?
2) Ew, it's an Amazon Fire tv? PASS. Android or bust.

7.8 overall rating. The Hisense U6 Pro is a good TV for most uses. It's a versatile TV that's easy to watch in a variety of room conditions. It looks very good in a dark room watching movies at night, but it looks just as good watching shows in the middle of the day, even in a bright room. It's also a very feature-rich TV, with a wide selection of gaming features like VRR, HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, and a high refresh rate. Unfortunately, it's held back by its terrible motion performance, with a very slow response time that makes any fast action in sports or games look incredibly blurry.

I bought as 55 for my daughter. She has a perpendicular window very near the tv. It handles it very well.
