Your RTX 5090 Deal Lover is back with another post!
Simply go here https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp...91wjaa-aba- There are no coupon to use for this one but it's actually GREAT DEAL and you cannot customize it.
- There is a labor day specific coupon for GAMERS25 but it does not apply here and not necessary because this price is 35% OFF $7000 MSP!
- Don't forget to stack your CC stuff.
Don't have EPP? It's still a GREAT DEAL for today and the situation we are in.
Compared to the previous Ultra 265K deal these are the following differences for $4560! Fantastic upgrade price if you look at the comparison and if you needed the extra config.
- Windows 11 Pro
- Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 285K (instead of 265K)
- 64 GB memory (instead of 16GB)
- 2 TB SSD storage ( instead of 16GB)
Of course, you still get this - NVIDIA GeForce RTXâ„¢ 5090 GPU
Just note these differences between AMD and Intel variants but keep in mind that AMD Variants this time has no extra discount nor is Ultra 265K config worth it right now. So hop to it if you wanted Ultra 285 for extra productivity workloads and if you needed 64GB and more storage anyway!
Why I like AMD over Intel (Core Ultra 7 265K) on this HP Platform?- Front I/O & Headers: Includes a functional front-panel USB-C port and a dedicated motherboard USB-C header.
- Power Efficiency: Operates at a conservative 65W CPU base power target vs. the 125W power draw on Intel.
- X3D Option for true Gaming edge: If you are a gaming, this is a no brainer to get 9800X3D
- Full Modular 1200W PSU: The Ultra 265K I got had non-modular design and only 12v6 adapter, not the old style 8-pin at all!
- Refreshed Case Design: Uses HP's updated chassis revision with subtle, cleaner front-panel aesthetics.

You should read some of the reviews, one is from October 2025 that Nay-sayers for this deal will mention.

This OMEN 45L is mainly a 5090 value play, with 64GB RAM, a 2TB SSD, and Windows Pro making it stronger for productivity and parts value than for a clean out of box gaming build. The RTX 5090 is the star, and the OEM card is described as mostly metal and comparable to other 5090s. The Intel version is the normal OMEN 45L, not the MAX model, and the RAM is 4x16. Caveats include HP's locked down BIOS, a non modular Intel PSU, and recurring cooling complaints that can require airflow or cooler changes.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, the advertised $4560 price appears to require EPP; without it, the checkout price can jump to $4799. EDU can work at the same price on some accounts, but it is not stackable with EPP.
The Intel variant is reported to ship with a non-modular PSU and only the 12VHPWR/12HPW connection, while the AMD variant is modular and includes 12VHPWR plus 8-pin cables and extra SATA leads. That matters if you plan to reuse parts or swap in an older GPU, which may need a splitter or adapter.
The RTX 5090 is reported to work in other PCs and is not BIOS-locked, so it can be reused if you shuck the system. The main resale caveat is that the GPU may be tied to the shipped PC for warranty purposes, and the motherboard/case are the least desirable parts to keep.
The system uses 4x16GB RAM, not 2x32GB. XMP may need to be enabled in BIOS to reach the rated 5600MHz, and the HP motherboard is described as fairly locked down beyond that.
This is the normal OMEN 45L, not the OMEN MAX 45L. That matters if you plan to keep the PC, since the normal 45L is the one associated with the older negative review and the shucking discussion.

Edu not stackable with EPP but you can try it edu has slightly more discount than mere mortals. EPP is supposed to be better than EDU though

I did buy this pre-built a few months back when the 265k, 32 GB, 1 TB and the non-modular PSU version was available for 3.2 k, and I still have it, Gamers Nexus was 100% correct, they use a vanilla Micro ATX motherboard, an extremely odd AIO, and the 265k is all right but not great for gaming and the system arrived poorly configured, the XMP profile wasn't even enabled in the bios.
I didn't shuck mine, instead I straightened out the whole cooling issue, swapped in a Intel Core Ultra 270k Plus. Everything runs fine now including gaming but I do hate the case so one of those and perhaps a full size ATX motherboard might be a future upgrade.
This isn't a bad deal just based alone on what an RTX 5090 costs right now and the HP OEM version of the RTX 5090 is pretty good, not flashy, no RGB but mostly metal construction and runs as good as any other that I have seen. Thanks for sharing.
But if you talk to the sales support person explain to them that you order a new one because you found something better on HP they could with approval - accept the return without restocking fee if they notate it in the account and this is only if cancellation isn't successful so you wanna do this ASAP
I've had a really good success with the sales support people. I even got an order in the last deal after the coupon. Expiration because I don't know why she got an override and gave me approval
A free keyboard once the hyper X 60%
Free USB-C hub plus $40 extra off
And the best one was she left me order a deal after coupon expired. So I got an extra 9800 X 3-D coming. Lol
I am a charmer
what can I say.
Yes on the username. lol
