If you didn't already know, you can pour the contents into any spray bottlesl, and it works just fine. You could recycle an empty one, even, although I sprung for a Dollar Tree empty spray bottle. If you haven't used the stuff before, a little goes a long way and it works well.
I love how they've introduced watered-down dish soap in a spray bottle and act like it's the next great thing.
I felt the same way, until I tried it. The 'homemade' mixes don't get close to the effectiveness of this product. It really is "the next great thing" IMO.

Sure it will work but you should also know that not all plastics and spray bottles are created equal. Many bottles contain additives for uv resistance, heat stabilizers, and elastomers which should not be used in this use case.

yea this stuff really is quite good, i've used it a while and tried all different ways of soaking, when using this to soak(without water touching it, soaking jus the spray on a dry surface) it actually does wonders
Only missing a few key ingredients. It's those chemicals which make it most effective. This comes from a chemist friend of mine.
Ingredients aside, one can just look at the pH of 11 for Powerwash but pH ~ 8.5 for watered down Dawn dish soap. Sure, the homemade version will be a good cleaner but it's not the same level of degreaser (easier on the hands though).
